MFM Community Health Clinic, Khamrang
Many villages in Mizoram do not have basic health care facilities which create a dire need of health workers, nurses and doctors in rural areas. Recognizing this need, MFM opened a Health Clinic at Khamrang Village in 2012, with the approval from the Health Department, Govt. of Mizoram, covering a population of 3086 in five villages nearby Khamrang village. <Read More>
Community Development Programme (CDP) has been launched from 2016 in collaboration with North East Rural Livelihood Projects (NERLP), Ministry of DoNER. The project covered 3 RD Blocks of Aizawl District i.e., Tlangnuam, Phullen and Aibawk RD Blocks. The objective of the project is to improve rural livelihood especially that of women, unemployed youth and disadvantage group of the society. <Read More>
Mental Health Programme
Mental illness is considered a “taboo” in the society. People suffering from mental illness are often subject to discrimination. Not only this they are stormed with financial, physical, mental, emotional, and social burden. Due to which availing treatment and care becomes a hassle and even burdensome for the family members.<Read More>
Medicinal Plant
Mizoram is gifted with pleasant climate with least amount of pollution for medicinal plants. Large varieties of medicinal plants are found in the preserved forests. MFM own 65 hectares of land at Khamrang Village, Kolasib District. In this preserved area, varieties of medicinal plants are found and can be grown. It has been preserved and well taken care of by the Organization for further development of Medicinal plants in the state.<Read More>
Education
We provide Non-formal education to children from low income communities in Southern parts of Mizoram border to Burma and Bangladesh in two district namely Lawngtlai and Lunglei district among the tribes such as Bawm, Bru, Chakma and Khumi.<Read More>

We have a wide agricultural farm with fishery ponds. MFM initiates a model farm In order to improve the agricultural system and livelihood of the tribal’s in the state. <Read More>
Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)
It is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. <Read More>
Rural Livelihhod Programme: Start Up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP)
The Start up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) is a sub component of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) of the Ministry of Rural Development. SVEP aims to support entrepreneurs in rural areas to set up local enterprises. It strives to help the rural poor come out of poverty by helping them set up enterprises and provide support till the enterprises stabilize. The programmatic intervention addresses all three missing ecosystems – Knowledge, advisory and finance ecosystems.<Read More>
Under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, MFM received a Grant-in aid to run Mobile Dispensary at Mamit District which is an aspirational district driven by the necessity to make health care facilities more accessible and affordable. As an Aspirational district, the community needs a great deal of extra attention to enhance the welfare of the tribal’s residing in this area. This scheme helps in providing environment for socioeconomic upliftment and overall development of the Scheduled Tribes (STs). Joining hands with the Partners worldwide, USA, we worked closely and vigorously to empower women by helping them set-up a sustainable livelihood. The importance for improvement of rural women conditions and status is a well known fact. Moreover, financial dependency on family members further depreciates women’s status. With the aim to economically empower women, we promote Piggery Farming over 50 women in the Rural site of Aizawl. This project was initiated from 2019. HIV/AIDS a lifelong condition and currently a no cure disease is a worldwide issue. Unfortunately, Mizoram is one of the most affected areas. As a result, MFM partnering with FHI 360, USA step forward to diminish the present status and improve the current situation of people infected with the disease. Skill Development Training Programme For Unemployed Youth
HSBC Skills for Life is a five year commitment by HSBC India that will focus on employment and entrepreneurship-linked skill development of disadvantaged youth. Under the umbrella of this programme, the Bank and Swades Foundation have forged a five-year partnership that will directly skill many thousand disadvantaged youth across the country and indirectly impact and inspire many others.<Read More>
With the progressive change in the socio-economic fabric of the country, more and more women are leaving their homes in search of employment in big cities as well as urban and rural industrial clusters. One of the main difficulties faced by such women is lack of safe and conveniently located accommodation. Realizing this need, MFM constructed Working Women Hostel at Durtlang, with the objective to promote availability of safe and conveniently located accommodation for working women, including day care facility for their children. The hostel was funded by Ministry of Women and Child, Government of India. The building is under construction and expected to accommodate 100 of residence with 30 Day Care Centre.<Read More>
