Health workers play an important role in rendering primary healthcare services in rural areas even with a minimum health care facility with the other health team members. Being the grassroots healthcare provider, especially for rural health, the importance of services rendered by Health workers is irrefutable.
In 2024, the School was upgraded to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) status by Indian Nursing Council. Classes for the new GNM courses will commence from May, 2024.
