Social Welfare Minister distributes Support Equipments to Existing Entrepreneurs under Start-up Entrepreneur Development Programme

Dr K Beichua, Minister of State for Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs Department today distributed Support Equipments to 120 Existing Entrepreneurs under Start-up Entrepreneur Development Programme, Reiek RD Block at Reiek Community Hall. The project is being implemented by Mission Foundation Movement funded by Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Govt of India

Speaking at the distribution function of support equipment to existing entrepreneurs, the Minister commended MFM’s task of hand holding existing entrepreneurs and training of new entrepreneurs is a noble venture, which can generate livelihood means and help in generation of self employment, he added. He mentioned that entrepreneurship development is a priority area for the government and interventions are being made at various levels to augment and strengthen it.

The programme was graced by the presence of Mr K. Liantlinga, Vice Chairman, Social Rehabilitation Board and Mr. C Lalsawta, IAS (Rtd.) Chairman Lokayukta.  Mr. Ngurnunsanga, BDO Reiek, Chairman Project Approval Committee Start-up Entrepreneur Development Programme hosted the Programme.

Top Three Existing Entrepreneurs were Awarded with Mrs. C.Rinsangpuii, Rulpuihlim(Pickle Making) as the most successful entrepreneur, Mrs. Lalchhuanmawii, Rawpuichhip (Carpentry) 2nd and Mr. Laldailova, Reiek (Turmeric) as 3rd position.
