1st BATCH DDUGKY - FACILITATION PROGRAMME
HON'BLE RD MINISTER GRACED 1st BATCH OF DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAYA GRAMEEN KAUSHALYA YOJANA FELICITATION PROGRAMME WITH HIS PRESENCE

Mission Foundation Movement one of the Local PIA under Deen Dayal Upadhaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) organized Felicitation Programme for DDU-GKY General Duty Assistant (GDA) candidates at Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall, Aizawl where Mr.Lalruatkima, Minister Rural Development Department, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. At the occasion, 87 candidates received certificate from Chief Guest Mr.Lalruatkima.
Chief Guest Mr.Lalruatkima challenged the outgoing candidates to value their profession and work with sincerity so that others yearn to work at the same profession. DDUGKY is a skill development program initiated by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), monitored by Mizoram State Rural Livelihood Mission (MzSRLM) with a vision to transform rural poor youth into an economically independent and globally relevant workforce. Mr.Lalruatkima praised Mission Foundation Movement, an empanelled PIA for their enthusiastic work, the result of which we are yet to reap soon. He further added this skill training was implemented as per guidelines laid down by Ministry of Rural Development. He pointed few of the unique qualities about DDU-GKY saying that unlike other programme, it explicitly focuses on job placement, retention and career progression.
The Minister added that government placed keen interest on helping skilled individual facing issues to set-up their own enterprise. To promote such entrepreneur, the government set up SEDP Project with Human Resource Development Board. He motivated the students to make use of the skill Mission Foundation Movement had imparted to them through the government schemes.
