GBV-SOLVE PROJECT: SELF-DEFENSE TRAINING FOR FEMALE STUDENTS
News | June 02, 2026
As part of GBV-Solve Project, Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) has been conducting self-defense training sessions for female students in schools to promote safety, confidence, and empowerment.
The training is delivered by qualified self-defense trainers who provide practical instruction on personal safety, basic defense techniques, and strategies for responding to situations that may compromise students' well-being. Students are also encouraged to understand the importance of setting personal boundaries, seeking help from trusted adults, and standing up against all forms of gender-based violence.
Beyond physical skills, the sessions focus on building self-confidence, resilience, and the ability to make informed decisions that support their safety and personal growth.
Through this initiative, GBV-Solve Project aims to create safer school environments where girls feel empowered, protected, and confident to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
