Official Handover Ceremony of Multipurpose Utility Vehicle Under IOCL-CSR at Saitual

News  |  March 17, 2026

Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme of Indian Oil Corporation, Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) successfully facilitated the handover of a Multipurpose Utility Vehicle to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office, Saitual, on 18 March 2026.

The programme was chaired by Pu Srinivas Sadi, Deputy Commissioner of Saitual, and graced by Prof. Lalnilawma, Hon’ble Minister of State and MLA of the constituency, as the Chief Guest.

Mission Foundation Movement played a pivotal role in the successful realization of this initiative. The organization undertook extensive efforts in conceptualizing, preparing, and submitting the project proposal to IOC. After sustained engagement and multiple attempts, the proposal was successfully approved, resulting in the provision of two vehicles dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in Saitual District.

The vehicles will be utilized for conducting health check-ups, immunization drives, and vaccine distribution, particularly targeting remote and hard-to-reach areas. This initiative is expected to significantly improve access to essential healthcare services and contribute to timely medical intervention in underserved communities.

During the programme, the Deputy Commissioner expressed appreciation for the initiative, highlighting its importance in addressing the critical needs of the district, especially in geographically challenging areas. The Chief Guest also acknowledged the persistent efforts of MFM in securing CSR support and expressed confidence that the initiative would benefit the entire district.

Representatives from IOC commended Mission Foundation Movement for its credibility and impactful work, noting that support is extended selectively to organizations with proven commitment and track record.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Zothanpari Chhakchhuak, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Saitual District.
