HULHLIAP Short Stay Aftercare Skill Development Training - Batch 4 Inauguration

Today, the fourth batch of free Skill Training for residents of Hulhliap Short Stay Centre was launched at the MFM Skill Training Centre, Dawrpui Vengthar. In this batch, 23 trainees from Hulhliap SSC will undergo training in Aluminium Fabrication.

The programme was chaired by Pi Vanlalhruaii, Member Secretary, Task Group on Aftercare, Skill Training & Handholding, Hulhliap-SSC. Pu Lalramchuanzela, Executive Director, MFM and Member of the Task Group on Aftercare, Skill Training & Handholding, Hulhliap, delivered the keynote address. He encouraged the trainees by saying that God has created each person with the potential to become a blessing not only for themselves but for others as well. To realize this potential, one must work diligently in all areas of life, and with perseverance and faithfulness, blessings will surely follow in every endeavor.

Er. Lalhmingliani Hmar, President of the Young Women’s Christian Association and Member of the Task Group on Aftercare, Skill Training & Handholding, Hulhliap SSC, spoke about the importance of developing the right mindset. She emphasized that as human beings, it is important to discipline our minds. Although we may face failures and shortcomings, we should not give up on our abilities and strengths. Instead, we should strive daily for self-improvement and personal growth. She then formally inaugurated the Batch 4 Aluminum Fabrication Training Program.

In her concluding remarks, the chairperson Pi Vanlalhruaii highlighted the importance of planning and using our time wisely each day. The program concluded with a closing prayer.

With the completion of three previous batches, trainings have been conducted in various trades including Assistant Electrician, Aluminium Fabrication, and Food Processing. So far, a total of 92 trainees has successfully completed their training.
