Essential Items Distributed to victims of Landslide

News  |  July 25, 2025

Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) distributed rice, cooking oil, and Sintex water tanks to 35 households in the Vaivakawn area of Aizawl, who were affected by landslides during this monsoon season.

The relief distribution event was graced by the local MLA, Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar. The initiative was made possible through CSR support from the HT Parekh Foundation, Mumbai. In his address, the MLA expressed appreciation, stating, “We are grateful to have organisations that can efficiently channel CSR funds in Mizoram, especially when government financial resources are constrained.” He also highlighted that over 10,000 individuals across the state have benefitted from MFM’s various programmes.

Founded in 2004 under the leadership of R. Vanlalzauva, MFM is currently implementing 22 active development projects. The organisation focuses on areas such as Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Health Care, Sustainable Development, and Emergency Relief.
