The meeting was chaired by MFM Director R. Vanlalzauva, and Project Manager HL Rinawma presented the project report. Ms. Lalmuanpuii, the Project Coordinator, also shared updates on the recent progress of the initiative and outlined future plans.
The main aim of the project is to study and understand the reasons behind the significant decline in new chow chow cultivation in Sihphir and its surrounding areas, and to explore ways to revive and improve its production. Discussions and sharing of feedback was held in the afternoon.
A total of 30 participants from MIGA and nearby areas such as Durtlang, Sihphir, and Lungdai attended the programme. This project is being implemented with funding support from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
