On April 21, 2025, the Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC) and Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) jointly launched an awareness campaign called "Aizawl against Addiction - Prevention of Substance Abuse" at various Higher Secondary Schools across Aizawl. The awareness campaign will conclude on May 1, 2025.

The campaign began on April 21, 2025 (Monday) at Govt. J.L. Higher Secondary School, Khatla. On April 22, 2025 (Tuesday), it continued at Boston Higher Secondary School, Mission Veng. At both schools, Pu Malsawmdawngliana, Mentor, Shalom Mizoram, served as the resource person, speaking about the dangers of drug abuse and highlighting preventive measures.

On April 23, 2025 (Wednesday), at 1:30 PM, the campaign continued at Govt. Mamawii Higher Secondary School, Mission Veng. Pu V. Malrosanga, Superintendent, MYC, was the resource person, stressing the importance of living a drug-free life and encouraging students to be aware and actively engaged.

The "Aizawl against Addiction" awareness campaign will further be held at Synod Higher Secondary School, Mission Vengthlang on April 25, 2025 (Friday). The final session of the campaign is scheduled to take place at Living Water Higher Secondary School, Mission Vengthlang on May 1, 2025 (Thursday).
